Gessica Silverman is an abstract painter. Her work employs formalist strategies to describe the “inner physics” which connects humanity to the cosmic. She is a native of Boston, MA and attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston at Tufts University. Silverman was awarded the 2023 SMFA Traveling Fellowship to visit Spain and is in the collection of Tufts University. She has been featured in Studio Visit volume 27 and has exhibited widely in the New England area. Silverman now lives and works in Queens, NY.
